Power users make the most out of any software they get their hands-on, and that’s generally because they dive really deep into the technical aspects of whatever software they’re using.

So is there anything that Chime power users can teach us so we can maximize our efficiency?

Today, we’re sitting down with Jay Steinback and Amanda Alejandro, a husband-and-wife couple who use Chime to manage the everyday aspects of their business. Not only that, but they are also one of the top 12 Chime power users. Jay is the CEO of Realty Shots, and Amanda is the President of The Realty Shop.

Jay comes from retail, with all the corporate experience that comes along with it. On the other hand, Amanda has been in the real estate business for over 15 years. When they saw how inefficient the real estate industry was, they joined forces to create their retail brokerage, VUE Enterprises.

In VUE, all the agents have a full power package or dialer package, the same ones that the top-level management has.

While Jay and Amanda use Chime for VUE, none of the agents had to configure anything by themselves: all the high-level configurations are already done for them.

When it comes to configuration, Jay and Amanda prioritize repeatability. For them, it’s essential to have systems, processes, and procedures that are repeatable and consistent across all users. This makes the entire company work like one unit, no matter how many agents there are.

Speaking of cohesiveness, Jay and Amanda ensure that nobody on the team has their own CRM, list, or phone system. Everyone has Chime or at least understands Chime.

There is also no such thing as “private” leads in VUE. Everything is a team lead. While leads within an agent’s sphere of influence are still theirs, the leads are visible to everyone else, allowing for a high degree of collaboration between the team.

This is how the people at VUE stay efficient. Everyone has Chime, and the way they use Chime lets them tackle almost everything as a team.

By having each and every lead go through multiple people, Jay and Amanda also ensure that it is easy for an agent to pick up another agent’s lead or client, which can be especially helpful in situations where agents find themselves swamped.
